Last of Us Still painting

Grey-scale painting of a still from the game 'Last of Us' created by Naughty Dog Studios. Excellent game, this was an old piece I did for practice with my values and brush work. Thank you for looking.

Gladiator Study

Here is another study segment piece I produced from a Master Painting by Pollice Verso ("With a Turned Thumb"), an 1872 painting by Jean-Léon Gérôme. I'm still trying to push with my rendering style will submit more pieces in due time. Thank you for looking! If you want to see the reference it is here http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c5/Jean-Leon_Gerome_Pollice_Verso.jpg

Sauron The Corrupted

Here is a old piece (traditional medium) of Sauron from LOTR I loved Lord of the Rings and the visual style and the armour designs were astonishingly detailed. This one was done with inks, gouache and white paint. I have to applaud Weta Workshop for their insanely skilled and their efforts! I also saw Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug a few weeks ago, again that was excellent! I have always held a fascination with twisted characters like Sauron, I guess I have a 'thing' for evil dudes XD

Here is a Mini-muny doll customized to appear as Venom. Painted with Gouache and acrylics. Unfortunately his whereabouts are not known!
Here are some sketch concepts (more personal) one of a female face and of course Pyramid Head one character who interests me on a personal basis. Silent Hill did leave a impact on me especially playing it as a child (all the more!) Hope you like them :-) Still more practice is required especially with drawing body and anatomy in general.

CPR : Conditional Positive Regard

Here is my first cover jacket design for CPR a transgressive novel by author Trak. E. Sumisu. It was a great brief to illustrate the character Matthew Stent a physiotherapist living in Nottingham (my home town) My client knew exactly what he wanted and specified with great detail what he desired for his cover.
